In 2015, she was posted as Counselor in the UN and International Organizations Department at the Ministry of Foreign Affairs in Jerusalem. Between 2013-2015, Tania Berg-Rafaeli served as Counselor at the Permanent Mission of Israel to the United Nations Office and other International Organizations in Geneva, Switzerland. Between 2010-2013, she served as First Secretary at the Embassy of Israel in New Delhi, where she was in charge of Public Diplomacy.
Before that, since 2001, she worked in different departments at the Ministry of Foreign Affairs in Jerusalem, including MASHAV, Israel’s Agency for International Development Cooperation. She holds a B.A. degree in History and English from the Hebrew University of Jerusalem (1999), and a Diploma in Translation Studies from Bar-Ilan University (2001).
Born in Strasbourg (France), she made Aliyah in 1996. She is married and the mother of three.
